Sander/Grinder
Location: Springfield, Ohio
Pay: $21.50 per hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a Sander/Grinder to support manufacturing operations in a facility specializing in metal components used in piano manufacturing. This position involves sanding, grinding, and finishing parts to meet established quality standards.
Job Duties
Operate sanding and grinding equipment to finish metal components
Remove rough edges and surface imperfections from parts
Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy
Follow work instructions and production specifications
Handle and organize materials throughout the production process
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow established safety procedures
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to operate or learn sanding and grinding equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Steel-toed shoes required
Reliable attendance and punctuality
