We are the Mitchell family located in the beautiful community of Sun City, Oro Valley, Arizona. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate care provider to join our family. This is a full-time position (30 hours a week to start) for someone who is experienced and passionate about home care. As a live-out companion, you will provide essential home care services to support our loved one's daily needs. Your role will include offering companionship, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment. Your presence will be invaluable in enhancing the quality of life for our family member. The ideal candidate will have full English language proficiency, be a careful and skillful driver, have a genuine interest in the history of Western Civilization (Europe especially Great Britain), traditional U.S. History, antiques and collectibles, thrifting, bird watching, kitty cat appreciation and gardening. We offer a competitive pay rate of $22.00 per hour for the right candidate who can offer reliability and warmth. Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to light kitty cat care, tidying our family member's living space, hanging, folding and putting away laundry, light dusting, changing garbage can liners, keeping counter tops clean and organized, keeping kitchen and bathroom cabinets organized and stocked from our own larger pantry etc. keeping couches, chairs, beds and dresser/table tops neat and organized, driving family member around for sightseeing in and around Oro Valley, driving family member to area thrift and antique stores for fun bargain shopping, driving family member to and from doctor's and PT appointments and to pick up groceries, medicine, etc. There will be extra compensation for vehicle and fuel use, which will be discussed upon hiring. Work hours will be as follows: Monday-Saturday 10a.m.-3 p.m. - Some Saturdays off will be available and will be discussed upon hiring. Our relationship with you will always be a 2-way street.
